Overview

Our 4 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari will lead you to Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali genocide memorial, volcanoes national park best known for mountain Gorilla and Golden monkey trekking, the base for the primatologist Dian Fossey, boat cruise on lake kivu, guided nature walks, where you will encounter wildlife like mt Gorillas in the jungle, forest elephants, Buffaloes, bush pigs, giant forest hogs and other wildlife. 
What to pack for Gorilla Trekking:
  • Raincoat and sweater
  • A cap to protect your head and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the same.
  • Hand gloves will help protect your hands from sharp tree branches.
  • Hiking Boots: a tracker needs to acquire shoes with good grip/traction and can cover the
  • feet/ankles.
  • Clothes, recommend long sleeved top and a long pair of trousers, cream, brown, grey and dark
  • green.
  • Insect Repellents:
  • Long stockings since you will have to tuck in your pants
  • Trekking sticks are given at the park but you bring a unique one with you if you want.
  • Camera with a great focus, strong battery and memory

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival at Kigali Airport
Welcome to Rwanda and Thanks for choosing Rwanda tours you will meet our company representative at Kigali Airport who will transfer you to the hotel of your choice, relax and spend a night at heaven boutique hotel.Meal plan: Full Board.Accommodation: Luxury: Serena Kigali.Mid range: Five to Five hotel.Budget: Yambi guest house.
Day 2 :
Kigali city tour and transfer to volcanoes national park
Early morning breakfast, after breakfast check out from the lodge and meet the driver guide to drive you to Kigali genocide memorial for the city tour after drive to old Kigali town for lunch then proceed the journey to volcanoes national park on your way you will stop for photos and view the colorful sceneries Rwanda has, later check in at mt gorillas view lodge for dinner and overnight.Meal plan: Full Board.Accommodation: Luxury: Singita lodge.Mid range: Davinci lodge.Budget: Garden place Hotel.
Day 3 :
Gorilla trekking and community walks
Early morning breakfast, after breakfast drive to volcanoes national park for the briefing on the gorilla trekking where you will spend 4-5hours in search of the mountain gorillas once you have found one you are given one hour with them know there lifestyles, behaviors, have photos if you wish too, have packed lunch and proceed for the afternoon community walks to iby’iwachu cultural center for a taste of the Rwandan culture in terms of dancing, language and there way of living after return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.Meal plan: Full Board.Accommodation: Luxury: Singita lodge.Mid range: Davinci lodge.Budget: Garden place Hotel.
Day 4 :
Return to Kigali Airport
After breakfast check out from the lodge and meet the driver guide to embark the journey to Kigali airport for your departure flight back home.Meal plan: BreakfastEnd of safari.
