Overview

Our 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari will lead you to Kigali city tour, volcanoes national park found in North Western Rwanda a home to mountain gorillas, golden monkeys and is the base for the primatologist Dian Fossey, established in 1925 and it was the first national park to be created in Africa. With gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking, cultural visits, boat cruise and relaxation on lake kivu. Wildlife like spotted hyenas, warthogs, bush pigs, bushbucks, lions, elephants, among others.
What to pack for Gorilla Trekking:
  • Raincoat and sweater
  • A cap to protect your head and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the same.
  • Hand gloves will help protect your hands from sharp tree branches.
  • Hiking Boots: a tracker needs to acquire shoes with good grip/traction and can cover the
  • feet/ankles.
  • Clothes, recommend long sleeved top and a long pair of trousers, cream, brown, grey and dark
  • green.
  • Insect Repellents:
  • Long stockings since you will have to tuck in your pants
  • Trekking sticks are given at the park but you bring a unique one with you if you want.
  • Camera with a great focus, strong battery and memory

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival at Kigali Airport
Upon arrival at the Airport you will meet and greet our professional safari guide who will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel of your choice relax and spend a night.Meal plan: Full Board.Accommodation: Luxury: Serena Kigali.Mid range: Five to Five hotel.Budget: Yambi guest house.
Day 2 :
Kigali genocide memorial and transfer to volcanoes national park
Early morning breakfast, after breakfast checkout from the hotel, the safari guide will pick you up and embark on acity tour which includes Kigali genocide memorial, then head to old Kigali town where you will have lunch and proceed the journey to volcanoes national park on the way you will stop for photos and beautiful scenery. Later check in at the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.Meal plan: Full Board.Accommodation: Luxury: Singita lodge.Mid range: Davinci lodge.Budget: Garden place Hotel.
Day 3 :
Gorilla trekking and Return back to Kigali
After breakfast the safari guide will pick you up and drive you to volcanoes national park headquarters for the briefing on the Dos and Don’ts of gorilla trekking then head to the jungle for gorilla Adventure. After the safari guide will drive you back to Kigali for your departure flight back home. Meal plan: Breakfast.End of safari.
