Itinerary

Day 1 :

07:00 Hrs: Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your safari guide
Short safari briefing before departure
Drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photos of volcanic landscapes
Visit the historic “Smallest Catholic Church in the World,” built by Italian prisoners in 1942 (max 12 people)
Continue through Narok town, passing vast wheat and barley plantations
Arrive at Masai Mara lodge in time for lunch and relaxation
16:00 Hrs: Evening game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, warthogs, gazelles, and other wildlife
Return to lodge at sunset
Overnight: Masai Mara Lodge/Camp (Full Board – Lunch & Dinner)
Distance & Travel Time: Approx. 270 km – 5.5 hours

Day 2 :

07:30 Hrs: Breakfast at your lodge/camp
Depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes in Masai Mara National Reserve
Safari guide coordinates with other guides to track wildebeest migration patterns (crossings not guaranteed)
Visit Mara River to spot crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife
Search for elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, and if lucky, rare leopards or black rhinos
Picnic lunch under a tree in the savannah surrounded by zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests
Afternoon game drive en route back to lodge, arriving around 16:00 Hrs
Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari over Masai Mara for 1.5 hours with Champagne breakfast (USD 450 per person, all inclusive)
Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Lodge/Camp (Full Board – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3 :

07:30 Hrs: Breakfast at your lodge/camp and check-out
Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi via Narok Town
Drive across vast Rift Valley plains with scenic views; watch for herds of gazelles
Ascend the rift escarpment and continue to Nairobi, arriving around noon
Enjoy a farewell lunch at the world-famous Carnivore Restaurant with a variety of meats: beef, goat, lamb, chicken, fish, turkey, crocodile, ostrich, camel, ox-balls, and desserts
14:30 Hrs: Transfer to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for outbound flights
