This Uganda Gorilla & Chimpanzee Habituation 6 Days Safari is good for those who want to see the world’s great primates in the names of mountain gorillas and chimpanzees and spend more time with them. This trip takes you to the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the Rushaga sector of bwindi for gorilla habituation experience and then to Kibale National Park for chimpanzee habituation. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is considered to be the best park in the whole world offering gorilla trekking activity. Please Note, that One needs to be 15 years and above to go for gorilla and chimps habituation.
Day 01: Arrival at Entebbe and transfer to the Hotel
Day 02: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 03: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 04: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park for overnight.
Day 05: Chimps habituation in Kibale National Park

At 0730Hrs, after Morning breakfast from your Nairobi Hotel, you will be met by our Company respresentative together with your Driver Guide, then have a short briefing before you drive to Nairobi Airport where you will be dropped off to catch up your Flight to Entebber -Uganda departing in the Morning OR Afternoon. Upon arrival at Entebbe Internatioal Airport in Uganda, you will be met by our Ugandan partner, then be transferred to your Hotel in Kampala, where you will be Checked-in, rest, and freshen up as you prepare for next day’s journey to Bwindi. Dinner & Overnight at Casa Solada Luxury. (Meal plan: Dinner).
At 0700Hrs, You will be picked by driver/guide from the hotel to start your 6 day gorilla and chimp habituation safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With stopover at the Equator crossing for photography and a lunch break in Mbarara town. You will then proceed to Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park because this is where gorilla habituation is currently taking place. This journey is very scenic as you have an opportunity to see the Kigezi rolling hills and valleys as you travel to Kisoro or southern part if Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive late afternoon for Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Leisure Lodge. Travel time between 8-9 Hours (Meal plan: B, L & D).
At 0600Hrs, you will wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters to join other clients for briefing about do’s and don’ts while with mountain gorillas on your habituation experience. After briefing, you will start your trek into the forest guided by park rangers. During your trek, you may encounter several birds, other animals and primates in the forest and once you have found the gorillas you will spend 4 hours with them, this is the best experience that you will never forget for the rest of your life, observe these gentle giants and take many photos as you can, later after the experience, return back to the Lodge for overnight at Gorilla Leisure Lodge. At 0630Hrs, After an early morning breakfast, you will drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National park to Kibale Forest National Park on this third day of your 6 day gorilla and chimp habituation safari. You will arrive late afternoon for Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge Lodge. Travel time between 6-7 Hours (Meal plan: B, L & D).
At 0630Hrs, After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park for briefing about the dos and don’ts while having chimpanzees. After briefing, you will start your trek into the forest with chances of seeing other primates in the forest. You will spend the 4 hours in the presence of chimpanzees while observing and taking photos. Return to the starting point for certificate and proceed to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge Lodge. Travel time between 6-7 Hours (Meal plan: B, L & D).
At 0700Hrs, After breakfast and depending on your departure flight details, you will drive between 5-7 hours to Kampala/Entebbe marking the end of this 6 day gorillas and chimps habituation safari in Uganda, you will be dropped at Entebbe International Airport to catch up your outbound flight home OR an option of an overnight stay in Kampala Hotel. Travel time between 5-7 Hours (Meal plan: B & L).
