Our 6 Days Gorilla and Golden Monkey Wildlife Safari will lead you to Kigali city tour, volcanoes national park, the first national park to be created in Africa found in North Western Rwanda covering an area of 160km2 bordering Virunga national park in Democratic Republic of Congo and Mgahinga national park in Uganda best known for Mt gorilla and golden monkey trekking, the base for the primatologist Dian Fossey, nature walks, boat cruise or relaxation on lake kivu. With wildlife including Buffaloes, Spotted hyenas, bush bucks, Gorillas, Golden monkeys, Giant forest hog, elephants, lions, warthogs among others.

Welcome to Rwanda and thanks for choosing Rwanda tours, you will meet and greet our company representative at the Airport who will transfer you to the booked hotel for dinner and overnight.

After your strong breakfast our driver guide will pick you up and embark you on a city tour visiting the most interesting places that Kigali city can offer including visiting the Kigali Genocide memorial, old Kigali town, visit the Belgian peace keeper’s memorial, have lunch and continue to Kimironko market, Nyamata and Ntarama Genocide churches and craft centers after return back to hotel for dinner and overnight.

After enjoying your good breakfast check out from the hotel, the driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Volcanoes national park on the way you will stop for photos and beautiful scenery. On Arrival you will check-in with lunch at the lodge then later go for the community walks interacting with the local people after return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up and drive you to the park offices for a proper briefing on the rules and regulations of Gorilla trekking. After the briefing head to the forest to start the trekking depending on where the Gorillas are allocated. Once you have found one you are given one hour to be with them study their behaviors, lifestyle and have photos. Have lunch and go for evening cultural visits at Iby’iwachu cultural Centre after return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, the driver guide will drive you to the park offices for registration and briefing on golden monkey trekking where you will have the opportunity to go close to the monkeys and associate with them. Have lunch after.
Proceed to lake kivu for a boat cruise or relaxation then return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
